Second Home, Inc. has been serving children and their families for 20 years. The agency was founded in October 1990 as a private non-profit organization with the primary focus of providing foster-care-related programs and services for children and youths with special needs. Today, Second Home is building a continuum of care in order to increase services for the children, youths and families of Maryland. Read More
Our mission is to provide community- based services and programs that aid in the prevention of the institutionalization of children and youths.
With the understanding that not all situations are the same, Second Home has several programs to assist in the process of fostering care to children, youths and families in need.
