Founded on the basic principle that children best grow and develop in family settings, Second Home strives to create safe, nurturing, and positive surroundings. In these family settings, children and youths gain a sense of security and belonging and find the support needed to grow and develop to their maximum potential.
Second Home's Biological Family Support Program is designed to help families who's children are in foster care. The program will assist you in maintaining a connection to your child, offer parent education, parent support and additional services that may be outlined on your service agreement. Our goal is to help children in foster care to reach their permanency plan.

OUTREACH SERVICES
In order to help the over 3000 homeless youth in Baltimore City and the surrounding counties, Second Home operates a community outreach program. The program is designed to meet the basic needs of youth and young adults between the ages of 15 and 24 years who were former foster care youth.
